Daniel woke up feeling tired and groggy, and was unable to shake it. He ended up going home after lunch to rest. He met with the babysitter and luckily she was happy to have him rest while she played with the kids.
Caleb had a great day at school. He didn't give me many details, so I'm assuming it was more good than not! Maddie had a great day at daycare. She went straight to her teacher this morning with no whining. Her sitter picked her up and was told that she did great all day.
The kids then enjoyed the park for a bit. The weather was near 60°, and it was a little windy. They had fun nonetheless.
At bedtime I read to Maddie then put her down. Lately, she's been requesting to go to bed. She's been pretty tired! Tonight when she got into bed she rolled over to her tummy, placed her bottom up into the air, and told me goodnight. She and Caleb go to bed so well, and for that I am very thankful.
Hopefully, we'll all get some much needed rest tonight and Daniel will feel a little better tomorrow. Goodnight all.
