We are so very blessed to have happy and healthy children. I'm thankful for them each and every day.
Maddie had her two year physical with the doctor at 10, so we started our day with her breakfast request: yogurt, and a peanut butter bagel. Good stuff!
Once we arrived Maddie was measured and weighed. She weighed 29.8 lbs (75th percentile), was 35" in height (90th percentile), and her head measurement was in the 98th percentile.
We then came home for lunch and naptime. After an hour of walking around and jumping up and down in her crib, she fell asleep like this. I fixed her legs once I noticed them.
While she napped, I fixed her cake and cut out the decorations for it. When Daniel got home she must have sweet talked him because he let her try the icing from the bowl. She didn't want to stop eating it.
We then changed our clothes and FaceTimed with Rhonda. Maddie was a little grumpy but was immediately happy when I gave her a present!
She was so serious and focused! She loved naming off the characters on her wrapping paper before she tore into it.
After the phone call, we had dinner followed by cake!
She was saying, "cheese!"
Maddie surprised us by blowing out the candles by herself. She also enjoyed taking a bite right from the cake! She was telling us all of the colors on the cake then took a bite and said, "yum, yum."
Once we finished up with cake we called and talked to Namny. Maddie was telling her all about her day and said, "love you, happy birthday."
Madison had a full day and I can't wait to see what this year holds for us all.
Caleb enjoyed playing with Maddie today and couldn't wait until he was able to say happy birthday to her. He commented how she is just the cutest and I couldn't agree more!
Love you baby girl. Happy birthday!
