Day 164: Poland vs. Georgia

This morning I was able to sleep in and get some much needed rest. I'm still in a lot of pain but I slept okay through the night.

Caleb's school held their international picnic today. We brought chocolate chip cookies and stamped little passport books as the kids came by. There were many tables representing various countries. When the kids stopped by the USA table they had to guess the capital, language, and continent. Most of the kids would say that the language spoken was American. I told one girl that it was actually English and she responded with that's the same thing. Their answers were my favorite part.

We were entertained by the Jazz band and tap dancers. It was a lot of fun but it was HOT! The sun was beaming today.
She was beyond done at this point.
Racing his friend from Pakistan.
Maddie wanted to join in on the ball pit fun.
Our friend's son. This boy can sing! He sang and danced (Elvis style) while the Jazz band played. He did a wonderful job!!

We left the picnic and came home to rest up. Maddie fell asleep in the car on the way home and stayed asleep for a couple of hours. Daniel and I got ready for the Poland vs. Georgia soccer match. We went with a group of friends and had a great time.
Poland scored the first point and kept it boring for a while. Then out of nowhere, Poland scored 3 more goals in the last few minutes of the game!

We had a fun and eventful day and I think we're all going to rest well tonight recovering from it.

Goodnight y'all.
