Caleb had a great day and said his instructor told him that he did well in horseback riding and it was his best lesson yet. He also had fun in swimming but LOVED the free time afterwards.
We went to dinner after work with all of the Marines. The Assistant Detachment Commander is leaving tomorrow and this was a fun farewell dinner for him. It was great having everyone together and this person will definitely be missed! Caleb adores him and has already asked about when we'll see him again.
After dinner we walked out to the park area and Daniel presented him with an award. During the presentation Maddie and Caleb ran around and played on a hill close by.
When we got home we noticed ants all over the foyer area so we killed those and then did baths and tucked kids into bed. It's been a long day so I'm thankful for clean sheets, a cold room, and hopefully good sleep. Goodnight!
