Maddie has been in such a sweet mood. She'll grab our lips and say, "I love you" with her lips puckered, wanting us to do the same. So, we say it back the best we can as she holds our mouth and she just laughs and laughs. She told us, "love you Mama, love you Daddy" a lot this morning before she left the room. She would also place bags on the handlebars of her scooter and then say goodbye to everyone in the room.
Maddie loved these shoes but called them "chicken shoes." She thinks the fringe looks like feathers.
Caleb had fun hanging out and playing. He had to get a few things ready for his first day of 4th grade tomorrow. He's growing so fast and is excited to start school.
Daniel and I cooked a lot of food for lunch and dinner this week. We had a lot of fresh stuff, so we tried to get that prepared so it wouldn't ruin.
We had dinner with the Dilworth family and the kids had a great time playing. Maddie loved on Dobi their dog, and Caleb played with the boys. We caught up over dinner, and we were also able to enjoy some sunshine and fresh air along with a lot of bees!
Caleb begins school tomorrow, so we called it a short night and headed home. Caleb put away his clothes and got himself ready for tomorrow. He's excited mostly to wear his new shoes. Hopefully, he'll keep them tied.
We had a great day and enjoyed relaxing for the most part. Now it's time for bed. Goodnight.
