Caleb woke up and did his normal routine. He then worked on his homework that he had forgotten about over the weekend. Luckily, he completed it before he got on the bus.
Daniel and I had a pretty busy day at work. Daniel is preparing for an inspection he has this week, so he has been especially busy lately.
Maddie was upset this morning when I left her at school, but she eventually calmed down. The teacher said that she did not want to wake up from nap time and she wasn't very happy in the afternoon. She is acting like she doesn't feel well. Hopefully she's not getting sick.
It was so nice coming home to happy kids and a house that smelled amazing. Alayna prepared dinner, and she really outdid herself. We had kebobs with vegetables and sides of creamed corn, and black beans. It was delicious.
After dinner I got Maddie ready for bed and Caleb got his stuff together for school tomorrow.
We had a great night and we're looking forward to an even busier day tomorrow. Today has been a very tiring day, so I'm welcoming Tuesday and hoping it is slightly better!
