Day 122: Fun at the Park

This morning the kids allowed us to sleep in a little bit, which was great. Maddie has been a handful all day and has felt a little off. She has a runny nose that won't go away, but she's been a trooper overall. 

Caleb worked on one of his school projects and got most of it done. He spent the rest of the day hanging out and playing catch with Daniel. 

Daniel worked a good bit this afternoon but finished up enough to take a break. We ventured out to dinner at Pub Lolec and also enjoyed the park all around IG. We had such a great time and it was a beautiful day!! 

After dinner we enjoyed some icecream and a few final minutes of sunshine. As the sun set, the moon came out (as big as ever). Maddie enjoyed telling the moon hey. She is growing so quick and her language has really developed! 

When we got home the kids got a bath and Maddie got an egg after hers. She never cares to eat the chocolate, but she loves the toy inside! 

Later on we FaceTimed with Nana, Poppy, and Aunt Tara for a bit. Maddie fell asleep on me so she didn't make it. Maybe we can do it again tomorrow. Caleb enjoyed telling Nana about the upcoming plans we had. We also talked about Nana and Cousin Wendi's visit very soon!
