Today Daniel had to work but the rest of us enjoyed a fun day inside. Today is Labor Day for the Poles, which meant extra fun time for us.
Maddie woke up around 8 and Caleb was up around 9. Once Caleb came downstairs Maddie started playing with him. They had the best time coloring, singing and dancing!
At some point Maddie went missing. Caleb went off to look for her then called me upstairs. She had climbed into my bed and was saying that she was going to sleep. Caleb joined in so when I came up they were both snuggled together. I sat on the side of the bed and Maddie told me to get so I laughed and took their picture.
They hung out for a bit then came downstairs for lunch. After lunch, Maddie took a nap and Caleb worked on his project. He has a lot to work on!
Later on in the day Caleb was invited to play at a friend's house. He couldn't run out of the house quick enough to go. When we went to pick him up, we ended up sticking around and talking. We really enjoyed the company.
Maddie was in her room after her bath trying on her Minnie shoes and rain boots.
We had a few thunderstorms today which made for an amazingly lazy day.
